Pool Open 1st day?

Are the pools open on the day of departure??
I know they would close for muster drill-
but curious if they were open before that.

You're in luck as they certainly are open - with the exception of the drill.

Be sure to pack your bathing suits in your carry on luggage.

That way you can change and swim pretty much as soon as you get on board. We did this last August and my son had a blast because it is not very crowded early on.

Prior to the safety drill on day of departure is when the pools are least crowded during the cruise.

We wore our bathingsuits onboard. We were the first ones on the ship..headed to our stateroom and dropped off our carry-ons. My children were thrilled to have the Mickey and Goofy pools to themselves for a bit.

It is a great way to beat the crowds!!
