Pool music at Disneyland Hotel?

Someone mentioned music at the pool in another post. Eep! We are specifically staying the DLH because some of my son’s special interests are swimming and monorails and I thought he would really enjoy the monorail themed water slides. He really can’t tolerate being in an area with loud music for very long though. Can anyone else with noise sensitivities weigh in on with the music at the pool at DLH is like? Are there any quiet hours?

The hotel can not turn down music or volume of the crowd.
Normally I would suggest noise cancelation headphones but not sure they will be comfortable at a pool setting. You will definitely need them at park, even the lobby if hotel, so try them at the pool area.

Why not try the silicone earplugs to help with loud noises at the pool. We used these when my youngest DS was 2 (they were smaller to keep in a park bag rather than the ear defenders and his ENT said he needed them when in the pool).

I should clarify my questions:
-Is the music at the pool very loud? (I’m particularly interested in this answer from other folks with noise sensitivities)

-Are there any times the pool is open that they are not playing music? (I'm realizing I need to just call the hotel and ask)

Respectfully, I'm not asking for suggestions. I know my kid's very specific limits, workable accommodations, triggers, etc.

How old is your kid and can he articulate what he is feeling or going through? No one can probably answer this for your son, except himself.

I do not know this pool, but I am sensitive to sound. The difficult thing is, it is not constant. When I am tired or stressed, I get more sensitive to the noise. If I am relaxed, I can handle a lot more.
It might also depend on how much interest I have in the place / activity with a lot of noise. I cannot say 'any sounds 80 db or over'.

Best is to go there and judge for yourself if your son might be able to handle the music. Or, if possible, take him and ask what he thinks of the situation.

I'll preface by saying I'm not familiar with the Disneyland Hotel or pool. But if it's anything like the WDW resorts, there is loud music and activities in the main themed pool area pretty much every afternoon.

You might also want to ask on the Disneyland forum if you don't get first-hand experience shared here.

Just wanted follow up in case someone with the same question comes upon this. We were there at Halloween, so there was always a Halloween song playlist going throughout the resort, but it was not loud at all. We had no problem. Even the day after the park when both of us where probably a little overstimulated, it felt pretty chill at the pool. Maybe because it was overcast on our trip? Anyway, the music was not an issue at all!
