They opened the slide while I was there at OKW. A life guard stands down on the side of the slide and allows only one or two up the slide at a time for safety. I think eventually the life guard will have to stand up on top of the slide, but it was too cold at the time. It was too cold for me to go swimming but the 80 degree weather we had down there prior to the opening of the slide turned me into a fish as far as the pools were concerned.
