Hi to everyone out there. My family and I just returned from a wonderful 11 day stay at WDW.

We stayed off site but pool hopped everyday. Our favorite Disney pool is the Beach & Yacht club. It was very crowded though. The kids loved it.

A very close runner up are the pools at the Dolphin/Swan. We visited there 4 times. The landscaping is beautiful and the pool area is large and lovely.

We went to the Animal Kingdom Lodge twice (we bought a refillable mug there so we went back so that we could use the cup again.) The resort is beautiful but dark. The pool area is okay but my kids really didn't like the fact that there isn't a deep section. If memory serves me correct, the deepest section is 4 feet. The hot tub is great - very hot and you can control the timing of the jets.

The pool at the Contempory is nice, but the bathrooms are run down and the pool was always crowded. But the hot tub in the middle of the pool is a cute idea. Adults are able to enjoy the hot tub and still see the kids in the pool.

The Poly pool is nice. Great slide.

Broadwalk pool is nice, fun slide. The slide makes the pool there. My youngest loved coming thru the clowns mouth.

Coronado has a beautiful pool area. The walk to the pool is alittle too long and the bugs were all over the place. But the slide is awesome and the temple is wonderful.

The Grand Floridian pool is okay , nothing special.

Looking back, I really would change my favorite to the Dolphin/Swan pool area -- it is really the best.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a Disney inspired day. :)

HI Trip.

Oh my post is pure fact. We flew Southwest from Newark to MCO. Stayed offsite at the Holiday Inn (Kids Suite).

It rained everyday (except Tuesday) starting around 3:30 ish.

I have no reason to lie. It really doesn't matter to me what you say, I'm just posting my opinion on the pools I visited.

The pool area is a very important part of the decision making process for some people and I'm just posting my views.

Again, enjoy your day, Trip.

Next time I'm in Newark, I'm coming over to your house to use your facilities. 'Kay?

Come on over! :)

We're not in Newark -- about 1/2 hour east. When you get on the Palisades Parkway -- well send me an email and I'll give you directions.

I'll even provide the towels! :)

I'm going to the Beach Club next week, and I'll check and see if they are requiring wristbands and checking room keys carefully, and then we'll see if it's true LOL.

Riiiiigggghhhhttttt!!! (Apologies to Bill Cosby)

If I had not promised to stay away from the Pool Hopping , refillable Mug, cram 25 people in 1 room at the CSR , thread I would post here saying ...... FICTION

Sorry TF ( I didnt use the De-Coder ring though does that count?)

LOL!! Kind of a long trip just to go swimming. You could have hit the local hotel pools. The AC casinos have some nice ones. ;)

Oh come on Annony..at least when I published my fiction, I posted pictures for show and tell LOL!

It's gotta be fiction... I am at the Beach Club right now and it has to be easier to get in the WhiteHouse then it is to get in the pool here.

:)

>>^..^<<

LOL! :teeth:

Big Labor Day Sale This Weekend...Brooklyn Bridge [or should I say George Washington Bridge ;)] Very Cheap...Lowest Price Ever! :p

While at the Polynesian last week, we were waiting for the monorail over to MK. There were three young ladies (late teens/early twenties) waiting at the stop also. They were in bathing suits, carrying bags with sun-tan lotion and beach towels in them. They were wet, but not dripping. Their conversation, and I quote, "So, what pool should we try tomorrow guys?" No wonder the pool was so crowded.

Goofy4tink, maybe they were DVC members - and so free to pool hop most everywhere :)

Welcome to the DIS Annony1 :p

You guys are so funny. I don't really know why my post is so debatable..fact or fiction? Why would I lie? It's not like you know who I am or anything..I have nothing to lose by telling the truth.

Yes, it was a long trip for swimming. But we've been to Disney every year for the past 14 years and don't really 'do' the parks that much anymore. We just go for the family time.

We are DVC members for 8 years running and love it. But that still doesn't change my post. :)

Bye.

What's so funny is that you have to hide behind a new screen name. If you have nothing to lose then why not stir up trouble with your original Dis name?!
