We will be arriving by bus and are either staying with my wife's second cousin or @ the Orlando Rescue Mission.

We plan on doing a day of Pool Hopping @ WDW.

What are the top 5 pools @ WDW?

I bought a Dixie Landing refillable mug @ a garage sale, can I get free ice and Coke to mix with the bottle of Jack that I will pack in our lunch cooler? (Does it HAVE to be Plastic?) I promise I will not drop it!

Do the pool towels have nice WDW logo's on them?

Maybe I can get my Xmas "shopping" done @ the same time??
I was thinking we would somehow get a ride for the 12 of us to the Poly and start there.

We would then ride the monorail to the next resort. (Of course we will ask to sit up front!

I was thinking we would then take the boar over to the WL - and then back to Poly for Wishes and EWP.

I posted this back on 4/1/04 but did not get any reply's!
Please help plan our day of Pool hopping!

you are joking right?

WDW does not allow pool hopping for their guests.

So unless you don't mind being embassed when the security guards/lifeguards ask you to leave...

sitting up front on the resort monrail is only for the resort guests - sorry.

You can however sit up front on the Epcot monrail - it only 4 guests.

I still believe you are joking!!!

No, No, No....what you need to do to plan a full day of pool-hopping WDW style is to show up at the resort of your choice w/ all your kin-folk at about 5:00 am and put down towels on the pool chairs (2 for every person in your family, of course!) Also, bring what ever you find to fill up at the drink Island...dont spend $$ buying old mugs at a tag sale, bring some old water jugs, clean out a laundry detergent bottle, they hold alot, or, if your in a pinch, use a boot!! Have fun pool-hopping and drink theivin', and remember......If you want to get into a park that day, just use Uncle Cletus's Park Hopper from 1983!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOLOLOL

Be sure to snag lots of extra towels at each pool before you leave. We wouldn't want you dripping SAB pool water into the Poly pool now, would we? And it is always polite to keep the seats on the monorail and the boats dry for the next pool-hopping guest!

Oh the top 5 pools:

SAB (YC/BC)
Poly
GF
BW
WL

JMO.

dont forget to stock up on condiments and plastic silverware from the food court:tongue:

We are saving the 1985 Park Hopper from our Honey Moon to use the 3rd day!

My woman was knocked up @ the time with her oldest.
Can he get in for free too?

Thanks!

Why don't you try to tip housekeeping into letting you stay in an unoccupied room at your favorite resort? No reason letting a perfectly good room go empty for the night.

why not bring the hibatchi? Just set it up far enough from the pool so it doesn't fall in the water - nothing better than a nice hot lunch of burgers and dogs!!! And just think, all your condiments are free (courtesy of whatever resort you're currently hopping at!!).

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

OH, Heck! Forget the hibatchi! Just wait for the concierge doors to open at the Poly's concierge building.
Send one or two of the little ones (they won't be noticed) up to the lounge to get food and drinks for everyone!
Make mental note: Backpacks can hold up to five dozen honeyglazed chicken wings or 18 cans of soda!

Have FUN!!!!!

I know this whole post is a joke - but I've honestly never heard of only resort guests sitting up front on the resort monorail.

I always thought it was a first come/first serve sort of thing - I've ridden up front a few times, never had to show proof I was a resort guest.

Dang! You didn't like the concierge freebies idea?;)

Yes, stinkerbelle, this thread is a big joke!
Nice to have one here on the RB for a change!:teeth:

g!

I think the boar was eaten a long time ago by the alligators. Perhaps you can swim?

he he I am really enjoying this but i fel it's time to kick it up a natch...
Don't forget to pack an adequete supply of diapers for any babies that are in you group... they swell up a lot when placed in a pool so to ensure they have a n enjoyable time make sure you have lots of them on hand to change when needed....
BAM!!!!!

Are you guys the same people that take cans of corn to the parks for your snack time?
When you park at the poly everyone take there own car, they have plenty of spaces there.

I really don't care if people pool hop. They can bring their speed boat and dump it in the pool for I care. It makes absolutely no difference to me. I'll pass a lie detector test to prove my ambivalence. But don't you know pool hopping is immoral, illegal, and really ticks me off?

Like I said, I don't care if you do it. Bring the neighbors, pretend it's a nude beach. Have little Bubba do a belly-flop and empty every gallon out of SAB, for all I care. But people have been arrested for doing this (I know cause I turned them in--even though I don't really care of course). In case you didn’t notice, there are huge signs--in multiple language, not to mention Braille, too—like picket fences around each pool that say "Pool hoppers will be shot on sight." I think there’s even a few billboards on the highway near the entrances. Just a friendly reminder.

So, sure do it if you want. I don't really care. One last point, bring your wash tub for refillable drinks. I don't care about that either.

;)

Be sure you take all the little one's wet bathing suits (if they have bathing suits) off and let them run around the pool deck naked.
