TOO FUNNY!! BambiTamby gave some AWESOME advice, about CL!! Absolutely...send up the young-uns, and they can swipe a wholelottachow for the wholebunchayous!!

If ya feel like sendin' a card/letter, just walk to the front desk and ask for some paper, note card or post card and a pen. You'll get it, and they'll even offer to mail it fer ya! (LOL).

All yer kin would be mighty shocked to see ya in the photos from all these nice pools, especially if the pictures are tucked inside the letterhead from the same resort!!

I never chime in on threads with "Pool Hopping" involved - most of the time I don't even read them- there just a little too 'hot' for me, but this one I couldn't resist.

I knew it had to be a lark and have laughed my way threw this one!!! Thanks for a laugh on an otherwise blue day!!!

:teeth:

When you're done pool hopping and concierge lounge cruisin' head on over to MK -ya only be needin one of ya'all to wait in line, then just herd the other 11 in and say you were holdin' their spots. If they give ya any trouble-Just clock em over the head with your Dixie Landings mugs;)

Stormalong Bay, the Yacht and Beach Club pool, has been undergoing some repainting and refurbishing over the last few weeks. Beginning November 1, even more work will be done on the rockwork.

**This phase of the rehab, which shouldn't interfere significantly with the pool operations, will be suspended November 22-29, for the Thanksgiving holiday.****

Yeah, Baby!!!!!!!!!Here We Come!!

Good Things Come To Those That Wait!!

What time does the Con See Air Buffett open!

You'll know it's time to hop to the next pool when your daughter tells you she doen't need to use the potty anymore.

I understand the food at the fixins-bar makes a great salad.

Laugh away folks......I actually had someone tell me that only people staying at the monorail resorts were allowed to ride in the front car!! And, you could only do it from your resort...GF people could get in the front only at the GF stop and so on!! This person actually argued with me and told me I had no idea what I was talking about since at the time I had only stayed at POR!!! But, she also told me that from the GF you could get a direct monorail to Epcot!! Okay, back to the naked, mug toting pool-hoppers!!!

hysterical!!!!!!!!!

But don't you know pool hopping is immoral, illegal, and really ticks me off?

Not sure what the problem is because next week while staying at the Beach Club villas on points we are hopping over to the BWV, SSR, WL and poly to swim!!

Very funny thread - thanks for the laughs!

Sorry if this lowers (?! ;) ) the tone of the thread, but there was a serious question hidden here somewhere...

While it seems to be enforced sporadically, WDW does actually have a policy (whether official or unofficial) of only allowing resort guests in the front of the resort monorail. Certain monorails are designated as "Contemporary", "Poly" or "GF", and priority is given to guests at that resort. I have seen this on several occasions. One time, we were permitted to ride up front from MK, with the warning that we would have to vacate if there were guests waiting at the Contemporary who wanted to be up front. We were Poly guests at the time.

Sorry for the intrusion!

Mike

PS By the way, if you see any characters in the parks, go right on up to them. Don't be concerned about the people standing in line - they just don't know any better... ;) If you want to go off and do some rides, just leave your kids with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy etc. After all, who better to look after your young-uns than Disney characters! You should also ask as many CMs as possible what time the 3 o' clock parade is. They think that's really funny!

Top 5 Best Pools for Hopping:

Yacht and Beach Club

Swan / Dolphin

Wilderness Lodge

Polynesian

Caribbean Beach

I must confess. My wife and I snuck into the Yacht and Beach Club pool on our honeymoon.

We were in our early thirties and what we did was follow very close behind another couple that looked old enough to be our parents. When the "Gate Keeper" let them in we stayed right with them and had one of the best days ever spent at Disney.

Our next trip we actually stayed at the resort, A) because we loved it and B) We felt guilty... Ok, My wife felt guilty.

That's right! Lines are for OTHER people, not important people like us! It's the same thing for pool-hopping... the rule is there to keep the OTHER people from doing it!

And hey, no need to buy swim diapers for the young-uns! Those regular diapers will do the job, AND they help keep the little nipper in one place! Once you "set anchor," you can go get a can a beer out of the cooler and relax!

My woman was knocked up @ the time with her oldest.
Can he get in for free too?

Thanks!

Well by all means. Since the first day of the visit was before the child's third birthday, all subsequent visits for the child should be free!:teeth:

Be sure you take all the little one's wet bathing suits (if they have bathing suits) off and let them run around the pool deck naked.

I saw that one at WL last week! There was a little boy who was maybe 2 1/2-3yo running around naked (not in the pool, but around their chairs). I figured that he took off his wet swim trunks and they hadn't brought dry clothes. After a while his parents put a diaper and clothes on him. Yuck, he wasn't even toilet trained and was running around buck naked and they had the dry clothes with them!

Maybe he was the OP's son!!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
