Pool Hopping Question

Here is my question, I'm a DVC owner, but I'm not staying at a DVC resort for a trip in Oct. Can we still pool hop? I have my DVC member card, is that all I need, or do I actually need to be staying at a DVC property? I'm still pretty new to all of this, so thanks for all your help!

You need to be staying at a DVC property, with DVC Member noted on your room key.

I think it is even a bit more stringent. You must be staying on points at a DVC resort in order to pool hop.

If they didn't require that, people who live locally could pool hop all over the place without staying on their points. It's also a way to limit the pool hopping a bit.
