pool hopping for families

I have read that pool hopping is allowed between all 3 universal resorts..
So how does it work? --the families can go to any pool and get towels there? or do you have to bring them with you.
Also I guess you have to show your keycard from your hotel?

You can get towels there. You do not need to show a room key to get to the pool but to get towels or eat you must have one. When you are done you can take the towels back to your onsite hotel!

you need to show it to get towels at that hotel pool.


if you set up charging when you checked in, you can charge back to your room at any of the hotel pools.

there are changing rooms at each of the hotel pools.
