We are going to be at OKW for a few days late June, Has anyone heard anything about pool hopping restrictions at the new pool at the Polynesian ?
I saw some pictures and it looked like my kids would love it.

I just returned for the polynesian a few weeks ago, and I can tell you this pool gets crowded (this was during a slower time in early may). It is a neat pool, but IMHO, its too small for the resort. I would call ahead and make sure that the pool wasn't that crowded before you spend the time going.

On the other hand, it is a neat pool. The slide is fun for kids and the 0 depth entry is a bonus. If you do end up going, its a lot of fun! :)

We pool hopped to the Polynesian on Monday May 14th. We were also staying at OKW. We called first and explained we were DVC members, and was it ok to come to pool hop. They said a resounding "Come on over, you're more than welcome!" We were there a few hours, I'd say 3-ish to 6-ish. The pool was not crowded at all. It was very easy to find chairs. The longest line at the slide was about 2 minutes.

We were there about an hour when they had to evacuate the pool because someone threw up in it. :( But we headed to the beach, played there, and about 45 minutes later were allowed to get back into the pool.

It's a GREAT pool. The zero-entry was just enough to give my 4 yr old the confidence to LET GO of me and see if his swim belt worked (it did) After that he was a fish! :)

Stormalong bay was also a GREAT pool!!

Call first, and if they say "OK" then go on over!
