Pool home or Condo close to Universal Studios?

Can anyone help me out with the names of neighborhoods or condominium complexes that would be convenient to Universal?

Is that area still considered to be Kissimmee?

Also if anyone knows of any condos that are available through sky auction that would be in this same area, I would really appreciate it!

We have never gone to Universal before, but the tickets are so cheap right now we decided to give it a try this year. They are offering a family of four tickets for five days for just $200.

I've been looking for the same thing. There doesn't seem to be any pool homes in the Universal vicinity.

I do think most of them are in the general wdw area. I'm assuming you did check sites like www.vrbo.com and www.orlandovillas.com to be sure.

I don't think there are any very near to Universal due to zoning regulations in Orlando (different county than where the rental homes are).

There are some other options. I know that the Holiday Inn across from Universal has 2 BR suites. We stayed at the Embassy Suites Jamaican Court for about $125 a night. That included a full hot breakfast bar for everybody and a 1 BR suite (with kitchenette and sleeper sofa in LR).

We got the Movie and a Meal package (or called something like that). It was cheaper than a regular rate and included two movie and a meal tickets for City Walk.

No I dont think there are many homes close to Universal.But try www. last minutevillas .com and see if they have any .

This is what we did last year. The passes to US/IOA for 7 days for the price of 2. We stayed in our home which is located off 192 in the formosa gardens area. It took us between 15-20 to get there. The traffic was never a problem when we went but that was in Feb. Let me just give you a small tip. They accept AAA and you get discounts on everything food, clothing etc.
There are some counties that do not allow short term rentals. That may be why there are none known in the area.
