Pool Heat in November?

We were there the weekend after Thanksgiving last year and definitely needed the pool heat. It was warm, but breezy. It would have made a miserable swim had the water not been so nice.

I was just trying to plan a Thanksgiving trip myself! And wondering where to stay in case it was warm enough to swim!!

Unless you are part polar bear get the heat!!!!

Owners recomend pool heat from oct-april.

Have some great swimming.

I would say you will definately need the pool heated in November. We have been in December and the water was freezing.

We rented a pool home during Thanksgiving week 2002. It was not really cold but cool. We paid for the pool heat. It was GREAT getting into that warm water at night.

I did not think we would use the pool, even with the heat, but we made full use out of it.

If the pool has a pool cover be SURE to use it whenever you are not in the pool. It is very effective at retaining the heat.

Before we became owners in Emerald Island, we rented a different house ever year. You really need the pool heat Thanksgiving week. We usually went Christmas week and it got really chilly at night. We recommend putting the pool blanket on the pool from Oct 31 to March 31 to keep the pool heat in.
