Hi there, we are taking our 1st trip "home" to VWL in just a few days. (we have been to BCV and OKW before) Anyway, when we stayed at OKW they allowed blow up tubes and other flotation divices for young children. DD really like her little blow up boat and it is a good way for her to play in the deep pool (with dad closlely supervised.)

Does WL pool allow this or will they tell us to take it out? I don't want to bother bringing it if we can't use it.

Thanks in advance. We are really looking forward to staying at our home resort and experincing VWL!:Pinkbounc (but are still dispointed that we won't be at BCV with SAB!)

The main pool is guarded and it may depend on the individual guard and how crowded the pool is. The Villas pool is not guarded, so as long as you are thoughtful of other guests, "anything goes." The Villas pool is smaller but my kids enjoyed it. It has a nice shallow area, an adjacent hot tub, and a few little "geysers" that send bubbles to the surface.

Have fun!

They will probably tell you that you can't use anything that isn't clear. The only things they would probably allow are floaties that go on the arms, bathing suits with floaties in them.

I don't think they would let you use a blow up boat.

Unless it is some rare occasion I don't think you would be able to fit a blow up anything in the main pool let alone be allowed! It is almost always packed full. Usually the villa quiet pool is much less crowded, but we fould a ton of main pool spill over on our last trip in September.

The quiet pool would be your best bet - you can read the posted rules when you get there or call ahead to check it out, but like the other poster mentioned the key is really to be mindful of other guests. Floatation toys take up a lot of space.

When my youngest DS was 2, he really enjoyed the quiet pool at the villas. The older two would go with their dad to the main pool and we'd stay at the quiet pool. The steps there are fairly wide across the side of the pool and he could play on the steps and feel comfortable and safe. He also liked being carried out to the bubbles to play. I think the fact that it was less crowded also made him feel safer too. Enjoy your trip!
