You guys wanna laugh? I was checking out the Poly a few weeks ago and I didn't even notice the fence - all I saw was the Bungalows and Cinderella Castle off in the distance!

I would take it a step farther and put readers in the doors of the longhouses like for CL. There aren't restaurants there non guests would need access to, if you aren't a Poly guest, or even a guest in that building, you really have no reason to be there. Not for snobby reasons, but for safety. They have a guard at the parking lot entrance, but anyone can hop a DtD bus and get on hotel grounds. And, should there be a problem, they would have a record of who scanned in.

As for the fence, I understand about code, but couldn't it be faux lava rock or something?

Many of us understood the original post. The OP choose the word "upper class", while others started adding in things such as "pinky up", and "snobbery" which started a whole other conversation. A lot of us defended the gate that they do not like, even though they still have access to the bar using the pros IOO vs. their cons. There is nothing wrong with that. This platform is supposed to be a happy place and I'm against judgements, titles and name calling. So let's stick to the topic without any of these jabs and assumptions.
