Hello all!

I'm THRILLED to have the PB reserved at $155 a night in August (ent. rate).

My question is this: What pool activities and things for kids go on at the PB? I'm reading a lot about pool activities at HRH, dive-in movie, volleyball, etc... I know PB is the...stuffiest...of the hotels, but can I hope for any activities without pool hopping?

Also, will I be able to get information from the PB front desk about activities at the HRH so if we go over there, I'll know what time things are?

Thanks for all the info!

Patti

I'd like to know the same thing. We will be there in Aug. also. 8/9 - 8/12 when are you there?

Good question, Madam!!!

We land late 8/6, and will be off-site for the first night. I then have PB booked 8/7-8/10. HOWEVER, I'm trying to decide if we should stay off-site another night to save about $100 bucks! With 3 full days FOTL, I think it should be enough, but we also want to enjoy the resorts!

After 8/10, we are driving 10 hours to Asheville, NC, for my family reunion. This is the most complicated trip of my life! LOL!!!

Patti maybe we will run into each other. I had to laugh we leave PBH on the 12th and fly to Myrtle Beach to meet up with family. It to has been a complicated trip. One way air tickets are pricey! From NY to Orlando and from Orlando to SC.

I was there in May and don't recall seeing any pool activities at the main pool.

However, perhaps they do organized activities during high season?

The pool itself is so much fun for kids. The slide is perfect for kids about 5 years old and up. And the little ones love the zero entry and beach front.

There are dive in movies at PBH i don't know the schedule for this summer but they have them as well. They have braiding going on pool side too. The arcade is steps from the pool and so is a quickie snack vendor. There's pizza and sodas there. All within feet of the pool. They offer appetizers and achocol. I take somewhat offense to the term stuffie. I find PBH so laid back it's refreshing to me. To be in a 5* hotel where people are wearing shorts and sandals everywhere walking in the hall with beach towels around them. The service is kicking butt! I just don't think after you visit you'll use that term to describe it. And for the person that mentioned take another day off from PBH stay you'll be kicking your butt if you do it. I love a 3-4 day at the time. It's wonderful and i finally been enough that i don't rush out of my room and to the parks anymore. I take the time to sit at the pool some and enjoy walking around the piazza. Visit the gelato bar and stop by sal's pizza and stop and take pictures of the gardens. Don't sell this place short by any means you'll be back sooner than you think so don't waste a day not being there in the first place. Hope all of you have wonderful trips we will be back "home" to PBH for Labor Day weekend! Can't wait. And make ressies' for mama' dellas' it's great and kids are welcome and love it! Concierge will make them for you.
