I'm flying on Jet Blue for the first time next month and I'm excited but a little leary. It's been 4yrs since I've flown and 12 since I've flow out of Logan
I'm pooh sized but don't take up more than 1 seat. I heard Jet Blue's seats are wider than other airlines. How much wider? I've got childbirthing hips with lots to grab on to so the last time I flew (25lbs ago) I had to use a seatbelt extender on US Air. Are the belts longer on Jet Blue and how are they when you ask for an extender?

I would be mortified if I caused a disruption asking for one and I definitely can't afford a second seat.

The seat are no larger than others, or if so, not by more than an inch. They are not as large or comfortable as business or first class on other airlines.

The great thing about Jet Blue is that they are leather which is easier to move around in.

Also, the seat belts are somewhat longer.

If you think you will have a problem, buy a seatbelt extender from the travel stores.
