Pooh size on US rides?

I love rollercoasters but worried after going to Six Flags New England the past couple years (don't flame me I had to go...). I'm 6' 300# mostly in my belly. Honestly people are very surprised when I tell them I'm 300. IDK if that's Pooh size or not but will I fit on all the rides. A bunch at 6 flags were not even close to fitting. I mean you'd have to be a size 34 and under. Even the shoulder harnesses wouldn't fit and I'm broad and fairly muscular (under fat) but I felt like I was in Europe of something. lol.
I just don't want to be disappointed when I get there; I've waited over an hour a few times just to find I don't fit. I give up at 6 flags (it doesn't have to be stated that I could lose weight, I know that).

There are tester seats outside the tricky-fitting rides. Try those. On Forbidden Journey if you are borderline (there's a green, yellow, and red indicator, so if it's yellow...) try it anyway at the actual ride. They'll put you in the bigger seats, which are the ones on the outside of the 4-seat bench.

It's hard to be, as it's called on the Universal forum, Shrek sized there. DH has not yet fit on Forbidden Journey, Hulk, Dragon Challenge, Rip Ride Rockit. Will probably never get on Gringott's or Mummy b/c of the leg restraints (he's like a sumo and has tree trunk legs, and those rides have small lap restraints AND narrow upside-down U-shaped parts of the restraints that his legs won't fit between).

Since you're a little taller than DH and you're smaller, you have a MUCH better chance of getting on those rides than my hubby does. So definitely try.

Despite DH not getting on all those rides, he still has a great time at UO, by the way.

I'm a little tall and was a little heavier than you and I could ride everything at USF although some of the rides were extremely close (forbidden Journey especially). You can see my picture from that trip to the right, Here's a couple of other ride photo's.


This should give you some indication on whether you can ride. At SFNE, did you try the "big boy" seats on Batman: The Dark Knight. The big boy seats are the only with 3 belts like you see in my Hulk picture. Hulk and Dragon Challenge are build by the same ride manufacturer. So, the seats could have a similar fit. Although there are slight differences between train configurations.

Thanks. I do not know if Batman had big boy seats. Only one at the entrance to try and it wasn't happening.

To know for sure you'll likely have to check when you get there. At 300 I skip the coasters. The Mummy will likely be most accommodating....I think RRR is likely a no go but it might be possible. Iirc I was down to 250 when I got on and it was tight.

Plenty of rides you can do.....Not sure how many coasters you'll be good on though.
