Can you tell me how friendly SW is for pooh size guests? Are there many turnstyles that you need to go through? The friend we are going with is not too worried about the rides, because she doesn't really like to ride much anymore.
Thanks :goodvibes

Only 1 I can think of is at the entrance. They do have area to walk through without going through the turnstyle, though.

I am definitely pooh sized and don't worry ~ nothing to worry about if you're under 350...

No problems with the turnstile or with Journey to Atlantis, etc. No problems with the shows as they have bench seating with no arms~

My sister was 280 last year before losing a lot of weight and she road Kracken with no problem, they have larger seats for larger people in certain rows. We haven't tried Manta yet but they have a ride seat you can test out before going in the queue.

PM me if you have anymore questions ~ we go quite often and know a lot about the parks.

Have fun :goodvibes

I have a similar question..with regards to Manta what are the leg restraints like? I have lymphoedema in one leg following cancer treatment (basically excess fluid) so are the two restraints independent for each leg or will one leg feel like it is falling out? I'm a pooh size (bordering on shamu!) person too and not sure how comfy it will be lying on my front with my lady pooh attachments if you know what I mean so can any girls give some insight on this?

I've been wondering the same thing :) I'm sitting here giggling over 'pooh sized' I actually hadn't heard that until today but I love it :thumbsup2
I think that is my new phrase!
We are going at Christmas :santa:...mainly to WDW but planning a day at Sea World...just trying to decide which day we will be spending where---I thought I had my mind made up.

I haven't ridden it for that very reason, it does not look comfy to me. They do have a ride vehicle complete with the restraints for you to try outside the ride so you can see how it feels. Have fun!

The leg restraints are seperate from the harness, they will only go in so far. So if you're really small, you don't have to worry about it crushing your ankles or anything. There's actually quite a bit of leg room in the restraints. It's more of a safety issues to have your legs pulled back like that rather than dangling, you could hurt yourself with the way the ride works. And it's not uncomfortable unless you get stuck hanging for like 20 mins waiting to pull into station. Which as long as they're running three trains you shouldn't have that happen.
