Which rides in both parks are a no go for pooh size folks? Would rather not be embarrassed after waiting in line...TIA!

Most of the questionable rides have a test seat before the queue. I am 5' 11", float between a 38 and 40 and can get to 245. I had trouble once on Hagrids because a soda bottle in my pocket kept the restraint from latching. On a second trip I had a employee discreetly ask me mid line if I wanted to try the test seat (a second one at the end of the queue) which I declined. I don't think back when I ran a constant 42 i would have made it.. I have been on every ride at both parks except Hulk, Rip Ride Rockit and Velocicoaster, and Hagrids has always been the tightest for me. (I will say Ripsaw Falls is a killer also since you have to sit with your legs out hugging the person in front of you.) My younger son is a 40 and has been on everything. I am going again next week and may have to try the test seats since I am on an upswing in weight.

A few rides have larger seats available, Hulk comes to mind and the back row on Gringotts (I don’t know if Gringotts is a latger seat or if it’s easier for the cast member yo help with the harness, but my husband gets asked to sit in the last row a lot). My DH is a consistent 44” waist about 260 pounds and can ride everything. It depends on where your weight is carried.
Harry Potter Forbidden Journey can also be tight.

YouTube is your best friend for help with this. And here we have at least 2 great threads on this, do a search.

Off the top of my head I know there are 2 YouTubers that are 300ish pounds and they go through all the test seats so you can see the seat and how it fits (their channel names are in those threads) “pammy plus parks” is one of them. They also give their measurements and clothing size.

Do not be shy to try the test seats and talk to a cast member before getting in line. MANY people do it.

Avoid the first seat on the Dudley Doright flume - that seat is at least twice as hard to get out of than the other seats!

I have witnessed (sadly) people being told they cannot ride on Mummy because the lap bar would not go down/lock. This happened on two separate trips where someone attempted and even after TMs encouraged them to shift a bit in the seat, it still wasn’t successful. I’ve only ever seen it happen on this ride. The Mummy will be under refurb from this Friday until mid/late summer so hopefully afterwards the seat space will possibly be roomier … (and not so jerky).

YouTube really has been great about helping me figure out if I would be able to fit on some rides. How your body is shaped can factor into the equation as well. I carry a lot of my extra chub in my belly and wasn't sure if I would fit on Hagrids or Velocicoaster. Only on Velocicoaster when I went after dinner did they have to push a little extra to secure the restraint, but otherwise, I had no issues.

If you’re interested in Hagrids, you’re best off sitting on the motorbike rather than the sidecar, if at all possible. I’ve seen multiple people get pulled out of the sidecar when the bar wouldn’t lower, but get back and fit on the bike. There’s a test seat for that as well, but it’s pretty far into the queue.

Do not have anything in your pockets on Hagrid's, Forbidden Journey, Mummy, or Gringotts. (You already can't on Hulk, Velocicoaster, or Rip Ride Rockit.)
Mummy, Hulk, Forbidden Journey, and Gringotts have modified seating available for larger guests in certain rows. If a team member doesn't already direct you to those rows, just mention that you think you might need to sit there.

I was 6’ 275Lbs during Christmas.

I had no problems with any ride only needed modified seating on Rip Ride Rocket. Last row on mummy and gringotts. I could even squeeze into the Hagrids side car.

I am 6'4, 320 lbs (size 46 waist).

I was able to fit on everything except Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (my shoulders were too broad). Hagrids and Velocoaster were tight fits but i was able to get in there. Make sure to do the test seats. Hagrid's was bike only.
