CP lovers don't slam me, different likes and dislikes are what make us unique, but is it me or does anyone else fell that Pooh and the gang just do not give you that magic feeling....there is something so special about having breakfast with Mickey and friends but i just dont get that "magic" feel at the CP...does anyone else feel that way?

I think it all depends on what characters you really love. My dd, 11, loves Piglet. Her face, when Piglet hugs her...well, it has to be seen to be believed!!! She looks like she's in heaven. We love watching Tigger interacting with the diners too. He is really a hoot to watch, especially if he's messing with an adult. But, if we had to choose just one character in WDW to see, it would of course, have to be Mickey!!!

I'm afraid I don't agree either. On our Jan trip we did dinner at Chef Mickeys, breakfast with Cinderella at CRT, and dinner at CP. I loved watching Eeyore acting shy with his finger in his mouth. It just so happened that he was interacting with my GD when their parade started. He quickly looked all around like he was startled, then he grabbed my GD's hand, pulled her up, and started to march. He was so cute and Tigger was hilarious with my adult son. My son and GD were standing up beside the table with him when I was taking their picture. He kept putting his hand on my son's head trying to push him down to make him shorter. The table next to us didn't have any children (only two 30 something adults), but they got just as much attention and clowning around as we did. Pooh walked up when my son wasn't expecting it and startled him, he then grabbed my son's shoulders and started moving his head from one side of my son to the other playing peek a boo (kind of) with my GD. I wanted my picture with Eeyore, but my son was at the buffett when he came around. When the waitress asked if we were having a good time, I told her I had wanted my picture with Eeyore but my son wasn't available when he came around. She said "no problem, if he doesn't come back around before you leave, I'll go get him. He does special requests you know." She proceeded to do just that and I got a solo picture with Eeyore and she also took one of him with all three of us. It was great.

I disagree too. I think all of the Pooh characters are awesome! We always make a PS for CP. Then we spend lots of time with Pooh at Epcot as well.

They are sweet, innocent and adorable...just what Disney characters should be

Eeeyore is our favorite. Plus we like the food better at CP.

We are not Pooh people either. We went to CP once and just don't care to go back. My girls don't care for the Pooh cartoons either.

It was probably just a bad day but last August I took my niece, nephew (both 6 at the time) and my sister to CP for dinner and the characters were rude, IMHO! They threw pens and autograph books back on the table and seemed put out to takes pictures. We also had a disabled boy and his mom next to us and all except Pooh went right past them. And two of the 3 dinners I have had there were not to my taste and I would not return if it were up to me.
That said my niece and nephew chose CP for their birthday dinner in November.

We loved the Pooh characters and CP for lunch. They were great w/ my whole family. I just love how soft they are too, there colors are so nice to look at. We will be returning to CP for lunch or dinner again, the food was great.

My husband and I agree that it did not live up to expectations. The food was good but the characters were just ok. I think part of the problem is that this place is just way too large. The characters seem to become tired and lose their steam as breakfast goes on. We were there this past December with our 16 month old son, now he loved the characters and Eeyor did seem to go that extra mile. We are not planning on going back to CP in October. I know people will disagree but after doing Donald's at DAK three times, it is definately the best. We also love Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. That is what we think and we love Pooh and friends.

We don't find CP as magical as other character meals either. To us, the food is adequate at best.

I agree about the Pooh Characters - not really Disney to me. But we had an excellent lunch at CP about 10 days ago. It was really tasty and a good variety for all the family. Plus some pretty good desserts to choose from. I go there again for lunch, but not necessarily for the characters.

We had the least amount of character interaction during our dinner at CP. The place is HUGE! On our trip in December, we also ate at CRT, Garden Grill and Chef Mickeys. They just didn't seem too interested in being social at CP. Tigger and his handler stood in a corner behind us alone for probably 1/4 of our entire dinner, just dancing with each other. DH said, "I think they're in love and need some privacy!" The food was pretty good, desserts weren't so much. However, when I asked DS which character meal he'd like to do again, he chose Garden Grill first but it will be closed; CP was his 2nd choice so we're trying it for breakfast in two weeks. Both my boys do like the Pooh characters but preferred Mickey and friends. Also doing PSB, LTT and Cape May character meals this time - can't wait to compare! I think we'll have hit all of them but Ohana's and 1900 Park Faire both of which we'll do in December and Breakfastosaurus which we'll probably skip.

I'm not a pooh character fan but my husband loves Tigger so we went. I was very impressed actually. We had much better interactions with the characters than at Chef Mickey. Piglet sat with us and hugged us, Tigger was teasing my husband and pooh took some special pictures for us to give to a friend of mine that is ill. CP did a lot and the service was excellent. We thought we saw the Characters a lot more than at Chef Mickey's and they were always dancing around and friendly. We went at the start of dinner so maybe that's why they had lots of energy. :D

That being said. I think it really depends on what Characters you want to see. Lots of times that's what really makes it special.

Obviously I am a huge Eeyore fan, but I prefer to see the Pooh characters in the parks or at 1900 Park Fare (just like the food and atmosphere there, plus Alice In Wonderland is so much fun, and the service there is wonderful)!

My favorite character meals are the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and lunch at Garden Grill (love the food) and Chip and Dale are SO much fun!!!!
