Pontoons @ OKW

Anyone rented a pontoon or other watercraft at OKW? Can you take this to DTD? How long a trip is it? Can you dock? Is it a slow ride? Any info would be appreciated.

Well, you can walk to DTD from OKW in about 15 minutes so I would assume by water it would be a bit faster, not counting the time it takes to rent the watercraft, launch it and then to dock and unload at DTD. It's awfully nice to go by water whether you rent the boat or whether you just take an OKW shuttle boat. The walk is pretty, too!

Yes, you can rent from OKW & dock at DTD if you like but remember you are on the clock, even when you dock. YOur clock runs from the time you depart OKW until you return to OKW.

Don't forget that if you turn left at the crossway (right takes you DTD) you can go down past PO. While we were at a leisurely pace I think it took us about an hour to go from OKW to DTD to PO & back to OKW.

It's a great way to relax!
