Pontoon boats...how many passengers max?

I've read on the DIS and on All ears that if you have children you can fit up to 12 passengers in a boat. We will have 6 adults 3 children and 2 toddlers. 12 people total. CM told me it is 10 people total. Which is it 12 people if some are kids or 10 no matter what the size. She suggested I order 2 boats.

We were told that they will hold 11. Call again and ask for a supervisor to be sure.

When we did an IllumiNations cruise in October we were told 10 people, maximum. I called back and was told the same thing by a different CM. Good luck!

But, at Bayside Marina, IF children are in "the mix" and all 12 can be seated on the boat, the captains should have no problem keeping the family together and not leaving anybody on the dock. But please consider the size of your guests, sometimes even 10ppl is a strain.

I had called the Poly about a month ago. The pontoon boats that you rent for yourself now have a max capacity of 8.

As of a few months ago, the Wishes pontoons still came in 10 and 8 person sizes. The 10's cost more, but have sound and typically go first. This often leaves you with the only option for an 8. Some CMs know that, others don't.

I believe that to still be accurate, but you never know
