Poncho's in the UK?

Hi, yet another question. Can't you tell it's getting closer to our trip?

It may sound a silly question, but does anyone know where we could get hold of some little poncho's or similar here in the UK before we fly? All I can locate are the usual waterproofs which are a little to elaborate! I know they are easy to get over there, but I have a fear of getting caught before we get any!

I bought some ponchos from my main Post Office, there was the poncho type and a rain-mac type, I think they were £1.99 or £2.99 each and they came in yellow, blue and red

Yes, thanks. That seems to be the problem over here. No main store seems to sell them, so it's a hunt around the shops. Trouble is I'm so used to getting 'unusual' items over the web

There are usually a few to be found on eBay - I've just done a search for 'ponchos' and there are even some Universal Studios ones there

Hi Nomy - just a suggestion if you can get them buy clear ones. In 2003 it rained so much that we lived in our ponchos. Our skin and clothes got stained yellow - and it didn't wash out of the clothes. They were bought at a pound shop in the UK. Didn't have the same problem with those bought in Orlando. Have a great time

I would consider buying them out there. We found that DS would always manage to break (tear) his Disney poncho, a quick trip into any shop on Disney property and they would replace it. I lost count of the number of new ponchos we had over the course of 2 weeks.
