Ponchos / Dollar Tree

Getting the last of things together before we head out on Friday afternoon woohoo!

Went to the Dollar Tree to get a few ponchos as I've seen advised on here but my Dollar Tree doesn't have any! I even asked in case I missed them but nope none.

Headed to Ace Hardware (had to get a few other things) and found some in the camping aisle, grabbed one adult size and one kids...

A good thing about buying them at the resort, even though it may cost a lot more, if they tear you can have it replaced for free. If you buy them offsite you are out of luck.

We grabbed a few @ wally world .88¢ each lol they are small, easy to carry better to be safe then sry. Hopefully tho we have good weather when we go I need a boost putt of this colorado funk weather lol

What I like about the cheap ones is once we use them we throw them away or give them to other people waiting in line. They never fold up as small as they are when you first buy them and take up more room in your bag.

I also like the real ponchos, but the ones we use are actually from Sea World (yup, little girls want to sit in the Splash Zone and mommy doesn't want them to get too wet). I believe they ran us about $7 each, but they are so much nicer than the disposable kind. We also picked up a reusable poncho for my mom at Wal-mart in their accessories section. It rolls up and has a little bag like a travel umbrella. I think it was less than $4.

As skiingfast said, buy anywhere else and they won't replace them if they rip. However, if you buy quality ones, you probably won't have that problem anyway.
