Hi again! I am having so much fun reading everyone's responses to my questions! Thanks!

We have two boys, 9 and 5. Does anyone have a great idea for what we can do on Saturday evening. We won't arrive until around 6 PM.

Also, I have heard that renting watermice for $200 gives you unlimited access. We are staying at the Polynesian. Are they easy to get or do they sometimes sell out. It seems like a nice way to view the fireworks. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

If I remember correctly, you cannot rent the water mice after dark.
But if you time it right you can catch the ferry and watch the fireworks.
But I suggest to just watch them from the beach!!!!:) The music is piped in.
I would just explore the resort, swim (the pool is great!!) and relax on the beach.
You can always just hop on the monorail for a ride around the lagoon. The sights are awesome!!!!

Try to get PS at Ohana's!! The have an awesome dinner show! The boys can join in on the hula hoop contest and coconut races!! You can also watch the fireworks from there!!

Have fun!!!

Welcome Dimimi!

Our boys are almost the same age as yours (almost 10 and almost 5) and we always stay at the Polynesian.

The water mice can not be used after dark and the operator needs to be at least 12 years old (or maybe older?)

Our first night we usually take a monorail ride or the motor launch from the Polynesian dock to the Magic Kingdom. We watch the ELP and fireworks from the Volcano Pool or the beach at the Polynesian.

Dinner at O'Hana might be fun, but you might miss the fireworks if you do not have a table by the window. (The kids would probably have just as much fun with a Mickey Bar from Captain Cook's out on the beach.)

Have a great trip!

Thanks Polypal and disney! If you can give ideas on what your kids enjoyed I'd love it! Also, did you use the NEverland Club? I am trying not to "plan" too much! My kids will enjoy hanging out at the pool...however, I also don't want to miss things that are really special. Did either of you do the $199 water mice? What did you think? Or, maybe once is enough? Can you park them and get out? Thanks, Diane
