Did you get a chance to see the tree houses at Saratoga? I've never seen them, but I've always thought it would be awesome to stay in one!

I'm so sorry about the ducks; I didn't realize there was such a bird problem! I've only had a lizard problem and a mosquito problem lol!

Does it seem as though the DVC locations have more resort-specific merchandise in their gift shops? Loved that Saratoga Springs bag-- but, like you, would love more to have a Polynesian version! We saw very few resort-themed gifts of any kind.

We went to the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine, which is off disney property but not too far -- it's on Vineland Avenue I think

Oh right cool. That's the same one we go to when we're there I was just wondering if there was one I was missing on disney property lol

Oh my gosh those ducks sound so scary! There were really aggressive ones when we ate at Flame Tree one time. They were nipping my boyfriend's pant leg just demanding for some food.

What a fun day. I have never eaten at the turf club, but I think I will try it one of these visits. I miss SSR (sniff). It's my home resort but I haven't stayed there in forever.

Yummy food again in the Poly lounger.

wow that rain looks amazing! As strange as it sounds when I think of American rain that's the type of rain that comes into my head! English rain is just mediocre in comparison!! When I worked at a camp in CT last summer we had rain like that and I think it took approx. half a second for me to get soaked through! I definitely think your decision to stay indoors and enjoy the food was the right one! I'm excited you're hitting MK eventually though, I was starting to get worried!!

Lookie at my trip report.. we had an incident with ducks as well or well my mam did. In hollywood studios she was sitting on a bench while I was watching HSM and she started giving a duck some biscuits she had from the plane but when she stopped the duck started pecking at her legs! Evil ducks!

I loved all your past trip reports and am enjoying this one very much. So much that I went to the Disney website to check out the Poly...umm...yeah...way out of my price league (especially with the airfare from Oregon), but it is sooooo beautiful!
