Great update! Wow, the views from the Polynesian are incredible! How fun you guys got to stay CL too!! Hope you get to stay in your room longer!

...and although it feels like a lifetime ago, we still talk about it. Both of our DKs were just old enough (but not too old, ya know?) to fully appreciate the Disney magic. The first night we watched Wishes from the CL, making sure that our youngest was ready for fireworks. When we returned to see them the second night, our DKs were already softly singing along to the words.

You can't put a price tag to that kind of memory for me.

I have to say I love how thorough you are with pictures. I thought I took a lot on our last trip (almost a thousand) but there are so many blocks of my TR that have barely any pictures so next time I am going to double that number! I agree that watching the Disney Channel when you're actually at Disney World is soo much better.

I loove your little brother's Mickey crocs! I wanted to get them really bad to be honest haha. I know they are for kids, but I don't care. At Disney I am a kid and they are too cute.

I've never been over to Kidani but oh my goodness, it looks sooo beautiful and fun over there! We may stay at AKL for part of our next trip... I'm SO excited!!

I love that you coordinate your outfits with what you are doing at WDW. So cute. Those sandals with the rose on them are so nice. They kind of remind me of Beauty & the Beast!

Ahhh the Poly!!! So jealous!! I am definitely going to start calling breakfast time kakahiaka as well. I mean, why not?

I LOVE those bamboo doors. They are mentally going in my dream home right now!

Yay for the Poly!! We've stayed there twice and loved it, unfortunately though now that we own DVC we won't get to stay there unless we pay OOP. Hoping they someday add a Poly DVC.

Those Mickey Crocs are SO cute! Did you get them at the parks? I've never seen them at WDW.

We haven't stayed at the Polynesian, but we have eaten there many times, and I haven't ever noticed that hidden Mickey. I guess I have been two busy watching my children.

What a great preview of what we can expect when we make our first trip to the Poly in August. As a child, I dreamed of staying at the Poly as we took our boat trip to Fort Wilderness.Now our dream comes true. I'm so lucky to be able to visit with my children. We've stayed at CBR and POFQ and love it...can't wait to enjoy the Poly. Your review makes me wonder if I should upgrade to CL.

It was the last day of July when I took this photo…lol, but trader jack was *not* back by the next day. LOL. Maybe he just lost track of time…for the last twenty years…

I took this exact same photo at 8:01 (according to my camera) the exact same day and purposely returned the very next morning to see if they changed the sign for the month of August.

I love the decor inside the hut, with the old globe and desk and maps and stuff. But I can never get a clear picture through the rope netting inside. Very Adventureland feel to it all. Disney is so committed to the theme...so special.
