Polynesian Summer

I love the Polynesian as well! The pool they refurbished is amazing, and if you get a chance, stop at the bar outside of Ohana to grab a cocktail, its a great atmosphere.

Subbing!! I love how you plan outfits for vacation.. I do it too;) My DBF and I stayed at Pop this past July and the pool water was downright HOT!! It was awful.

Great Boma pictures...I think that's the most I've ever seen!

It looks amazing. I've never eaten there, but I'm a big Jiko fan, so hopefully I'll get to try it eventually. Much better than CM's!

Pap Chaka Laka has put some song or rhythm in my head that I can't for the life of me place. :confused3 It goes like this (stress on the "pap"s):

Pap chaka laka laka
Pap chaka laka laka
Fu fu! Fu fu!

I realize that probably sounds nuts to anyone who isn't in my head! :rotfl:

Not to hijack, but this made me laugh out loud... :lmao:

It reminds me of a train.

Chugga Chugga Chugga Chugga
Chugga Chugga Chugga Chugga
Chu Chu... Chu Chu!

That's totally what was in my head! I just couldn't place it for the life of me! Thank goodness someone figured it out! :goodvibes

Love all your pictures from Boma. They are making me so hungry! I could go for a zebra dome right now!

The food all looks so good, for the treats alone, it looks like a great place to try..........

Food looks amazing in that last update

Congrats on trying out for AI! I hope you got the (snobby) button saying you tried out.

First of all, thanks for calling it MGM! I still do that, too, haha. I grew up with it being Disney-MGM Studios. And Disney-MGM Studios it shall stay forever!

Funny, I'm working on my MGM day, too! Check it out ;)

And good for you, trying out for AEI! I could never...never never never. LOL at the CM that asked if you were 14. I still get kid's menus in restaurants without asking--and I'm 17! (I order off the kid's menu regularly, though...the adult meal is too big for me; I never finish!)

Looks like you were in MGM on our EPCOT day--same dang hot weather!

(But that marble cupcake looks dang good)

WOW! Congrats on being brave enough to do that..i wouldn't!!! LOL...and they should maybe give you 2 trys-that's pretty nerve racking!!! yes...tooo much icing on anything in the heat is sickening, and I love icing too, but yuck! It looked beautifully chocolatey!!!!! I also lapse into MGM instead of Hollywood...I just can't get it!!!! Love the new TS3 characters too-- I have the peas in a pod, but would love to have Mr. P and Dolly!!

Congrats ... on being 21 but looking 14? You won't complain about that impression you give people when you are 30!

More, please!

""(Snobbish secret: I adore Mr. Pricklepants. I have a little toy Mr. Pricklepants sitting on my desk. So cute!)""

Doesn't he have just the most wonderful name??? On our trip in June (before seeing Toy Story 3) it was my mission to find a Mr. Pricklepants. I looked in every store we went to. :confused3 Finally about halfway through our trip we found him at MouseGears in one of the little 2-pack toy sets with Hero Woody. It was the only one I saw the whole trip.....I kept looking for more even after I found him. He is supposed to go on my Disney shelves on our wall, but so far he sits on the stand with the tv remotes and watches tv with us.

Congratulations on being brave enough to try out for AI. My husband tried out too, but he didn't make it either. :sad2:

I always love your updates so much! They take me right back to WDW. =)

I love the Toy Story 3 characters on TSM! I hope I get to see them! When we were there in April, sadly they weren't up yet.

You rock! Even though you were a little nervous, you still got through the audition and you should be proud :) How long is the song list they give you?

Those cupcakes at Starring Rolls look AMAZING, but it's just never the right time to dig into something that huge! Maybe next time I'll buy one on our way out and stick it in the fridge. It's just too hard to eat it at the park.

Hot Hot Hot! That last pictures makes me feel the heat!

Congrats on your try-out. I tried out last May but didn't get through either. My voice was too "classical". Not "pop' enough. Oh well.

HS looks so crowded first thing in the morning, but I'm glad you got right through TSM. I love that ride, but my arm always aches by the end of it, too. Wouldn't it be cool if you could actually ride it 5 times in a row?

How cool that you tried out for AIE, what a fun thing to experience. Did you go watch a show later that day too?

The cupcake looks good, but sometimes eating something so rich on a hot day is tough.

I just love MGM:thumbsup2

Congrats for trying out on AIE! You were so, so brave to do that. People think I'm way younger than my age too, and I'm 24. It gets so annoying but I just keep thinking to myself I won't be minding the younger than your age assumption in 10 years! :lmao:
