We just planned a quick trip to Disney. The only room available at Poly is the studios for our dates.
Does anyone have any input?? What are they located near on property? Is there really any benefit to the cost of the room?? I usually prefer discounted times, but we are meeting up with friends and this is where they are staying. I do like the idea of being at the same pool and having the monorail together. It just kills me to book at this price...TIA

The Studios are in Tokelau, Pago Pago and Moorea, and are a short walk to the TTC. The "benefit" to the cost of the room, when booked through Disney, is their availability.

The rooms have 1.5 bathrooms, a kitchenette, a queen bed, a sofa sleeper and a Murphy bed. They have a different layout than the other long houses. One other benefit is that every DVC studio room has a balcony or patio, even the second floor units.

Thank you. So it really would be availability and convenience. We stayed at the Poly in November for a 8 nights and loved it, so maybe Ill just go for it. I know once I am there I won't bother anymore.

We stayed in a studio in October and loved it! The two bathrooms are very large - one has a tub with shower, sink and the toilet while the other has a sink and lovely shower with a seat. It reminds me of a spa shower with the pebbly floor. We also appreciated having the kitchenette - made washing out our mugs and having snacks easier with plates and such right there (even though they are paper ones). The murphy bed is really cute too if you have any kids with you!
