I freely admit that the food at the quick service (Captain Cooke’s) was one of my biggest disapointments at Poly. I REALLY didn’t like the food at Captain Cooke’s. And I am not a picky eater, however I felt that at Capn Cooke’s they ‘reached too far’ and the flavors didn’t balance well.
In the evening, you can order the Ohana meal (Skewers, Noodle’s, etc) from room service. Costs about $50, but the 'single' order has too much food for two people.
I also strongly suggest that you make daily reservations for breakfast/lunch at the Kona Cafe. Much better than Captain Cooke’s. If you don’t have reservations, you can usually show up at Kona Cafe for breakfast or lunch, then go up and have them put your name on the list, and most days you can get in within 20 minutes or so. I do like Kona Cafe a lot. They are Asian Fusion and Island food, and it works quite well, in my opinion.
