Polynesian Room Request

I booked a garden view room and want to request the FIGI building. How do I do this? When I called reservations they said that they can't take room requests only view types?

Call again until you get a CM who knows what they are doing. You can request a building - just keep in mind that it is only a request.

Okay, I called and spoke with another CM. They put my request down. Is there anything else I can do? I am not above begging although I thinks it should be to the right person. Anyone else successful in schmoozing to get the building they want at the POLY?
