my daughter thought the beds at the Polynesian were amazing.

Anyone know who makes the mattress?

Someone currently staying there want to look at who makes the mattress?

think you need to ask Disney - some of their stuff is special order just for them - they use to sell these to the public not sure if they do it now or not.

Doesn't exist to the outside world. You just need to write a letter and ask them. More than likely it is a special bed manufactured directly for Disney and not available to the general public by the same name.

So I loved the mattress we slept on at VGF so much, the morning of checkout I took off the sheets and found the manufacturer and model name. It was a Simmons Beautyrest. I emailed Simmons and they were willing to sell me the mattress. We didn't pull the trigger on it then because we weren't quite ready, but I actually just emailed the representative today to inquire about purchasing the mattress. I will let you know what I find out.

I emailed Simmons and they were willing to sell me the mattress. We love the mattresses at VGF as well, but I did not love it enough to want to make up the bed! Thanks for checking.
By the way, the Marriott hotel chain has good mattresses, and you can buy their mattresses on the Marriott web site.

So I found out that I can purchase the mattress set from VGF. It's $1800 and they have free delivery. I would love to just make my bedroom look like the one at VGF.

That is great. Did you call Simmons? Is there a model #? I wonder if they have it in King Size.

It comes in any standard size. I just emailed Simmons about it. There was no model number just the name, Simmons® Beautyrest® Disney® Deluxe Pillow Top Mattress & Foundation.

Very likely, yes. Not long ago (within last 2-3 years) they were putting brochures in the villas advertising the ability to purchase the mattresses. Was among the pile of flyers you often find on kitchen table, nightstand or desk upon arrival.
