Polynesian Resort - Hawaii Building question

I've stayed in the Hawaii building 3 times already with our 4th trip next month. But I can't remember whether there's a staircase or elevator down at the far end of the building. We were on the third floor for all 3 stays and I remember glancing down towards the end of the hallway (opposite end from where the lounge is) and I *think* I remember seeing a door. If I'm remembering correctly, what's through that door? Just an outside area? A staircase? Elevator?

Thanks! :)

I would also like to know the answer to this since my family and I will be staying in the Hawaii building this December for the very 1st time.

There is a stairwell there...no elevator.

We can hardly wait to get back to Hawaii!

Hi!:wave2: Can we all look forward to your pictures again? Are you going to the fest? Have fun whenever you're going Terry.

CRFan, I hope you enjoy the Polynesian as much as Terry's family and mine does.

Although we've always been on the first floor, that door/staircase is especially handy for going to Ecpot or to where we park when in Hawaii. We're too cheap to valet.;)

Not only will *I* be taking pictures, but I just bought a Sony A100 DSLR camera for my DH for our anniversary, so he'll be taking pictures too. lol We'll have a TON of them for the web site when we get back. Our anniversary actually isn't until next month but I've given the camera to him already so that he'll have time to play around with it (it's his first SLR camera). He plans on getting some great shots of the fireworks over the castle from our balcony/patio/room.

I will be there for that event, will you? Would be nice to meet another Polynesian fan :sunny:
