Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge

Hoping to go this summer with my family to DW again, we might try the Polynesian or go back to Wilderness Lodge. Which do you like better?

We have stayed at both prefer WL-these are the main reasons All in one building, hot tub, like roaring forks better than capt cooks, Artist Point, you know you will get a balcony or patio. We love the the Lobby area at WL very relaxing it can be 100 out & I still want to sit by that fireplace. kid like the bunk bed rooms.

Pluses for Poly-Bigger room & monorail.

LOVE them both and agree with PP, but I like Poly better in the summer. Great pool / Slide and beach area. Wilderness Lodge is still my favorite for any time of year with a nip in the air. Also, I do love Poly's monorail access and fireworks on the beach!

I like the Poly better simply because it is on the monorail, and you can watch Wishes on the beach.

I would go with the Polynesian because I like their theme just a bit more, plus there is also access to the Resort Monorail, walkway to the TTC and their rooms are bigger.

I love Wilderness Lodge. I can afford it! As for the monorail - It can be way too crowded. I love the boat that takes you to the MK. Yes, the rooms are much smaller that the ones on the Poly. OK I live in Fla - so the tropics is not special. I prefer the feeling of being someplace different.

We've stayed at both and love both for different reasons, but the Poly has a slight edge over the WL for us. We like the larger rooms, having a daybed in every room, and the beach is great for watching the fireworks. But with that said, they are both awesome resorts and you can't go wrong with either one. Good luck deciding and have a great trip .

Another vote for WL for the same reasons. We tried the Poly and wished we were back at WL. The Poly just seemed crazy all the time and not worth that money. The rooms felt like we were staying at a Motel. Just my two cents.....
