POLYNESIAN November 2013

HI All,
We would like to stay at the Polynesian this coming November, either during the week of Nov 11 or the following. I need some HELP!

We are HOPING that a discount will be released for this resort. What should we do? Wait for a discount and then book? Or book now and keep our fingers crossed for a discount? Does Disney allow us to change our reservations if we need to, and if so, is there a fee?

Do room only rates typically apply to the Polynesian? Are certain rooms excluded? I am reading that discounts won't come out until late Summer and I just feel too nervous to wait that long without having anything booked.

I know that Thanksgiving week is most likely a blackout date but I am hoping the weeks I've selected will be included.

Sorry for the rambling. We are beyond excited. It's been a rough couple of years and this vacation is long overdue and much needed.

I don't have experience with packages, but with room only reservations, you can book now and apply any discounts when they are released. They don't charge fees to do so and you can modify your reservation all you want.

If I were you, I would book it now so you at least have a room reserved.

We have booked a packaged deal at the polynesian through Disney World directly including dining plan and park tickets and the operator told us that if a discount comes up they will apply to your reservation, however you have to call and tell them about the discount. They won't do it automatically. Good luck

If you are not prepared to pay the current rate, then wait to book....If that is absolutely where you want to stay and will pay the current rate if no discounts are applicable, then book it....

Thanks! We booked. We've never stayed there, so while a discount would be nice, we've budgeted according to rack rate and if one does come out, it will be a nice bonus. If not, oh well
