I was told by someone that the Luau was definitely PG and she wouldn't recommend it for conservative families.

Does anyone else have that same opinion? What could possibly be objectionable?

the Luah Show is definitely PG material. I can't imagine why "conservative families" wouldn't enjoy this dinnershow???

Too much shaking? Or maybe the grunting by the Samoa males during their dance? :rotfl2:
It has been a couple of years since we went, but I don't remember anything objectional at all. It is Disney!

Oh please! There is nothing questionable at all about Spirit Of Aloha. The fire dancer was in a grass skirt which covered more than a bathing suit. What was supposed to be PG about it?

I don't remember anything offensive about this show. Now I think they even have Lilo & Stitch there for the kids. Disney isn't going to put on a show that you can't take your kids too. I think somebody is wound a little too tight if they think that is PG. :confused3

We visited in January and too our 5 YO DGD with us. It was fine. The women and the men dance and their costumes cover more than a bathing suit would. No foul or suggestive language, no innuendo. Lilo and Stitch were not at the Luau, they were at the breakfast at 'Ohana.

I guess because I don't have kids, I don't see what the problem is with PG material.:sad2:

I cannot imagine anything at the luau being considered objectionable. (Well, my three-year-old niece did stand on a chair during the dancing and momentarily lifted up her skirt to show off her red (but very modest) panties, but that wasn't part of the show.)

We went last September and I didn't see anything offensive to the show. Just think Brady Bunch in Hawaii.:rainbow:
