polynesian luau dinner show

Is this really worth the money? DH and I received gift cards as compensation for dreadful treatment at Ohana and I was thinking of using them to see the show since it will almost cover the cost but was curious about how great it is before I book our meal.

We really enjoyed it when were there in August. The show is a little cheesy but the dancing was pretty cool and the food was good. Our server was very friendly and efficient.

We were there in July and looking forward to it. My family liked the food, I didn't care for it. The show was not like the luau we saw in Hawaii. I guess we expected more. My kids thought it was "cheesey" too.

We wouldn't go back. I'm glad we saw it just once thought. We were seated in a Cat. 2 section. Even with the fans, it was HOT, HOT, HOT. Not a lot of food variety either.

We were just talking about that tonight. Food was good! Show was not. Would do Hoop de Do again in a heartbeat for the entertainment!

For the same price I would Hoop Dee Doo! Then again, I find that I channel a bit of my inner hick at that show. If you don't have an inner hidden Hee Haw fan, then you might not enjoy it as much.

we have been quite a few times by ourselves and with family. We went this past May with our son and dil and two young ones....We had a great time and the food was really great.
The 4 and 5 year old ...we werent sure if they would eat the offerings so the waitress brought us hotdogs and mac and cheese for them........they had that and some of the regular food. They sat there and ate and watched the show for the two hours.
We think it was well worth it...
