I just booked a 2 bedroom condo at Polynesian Isles Resort, Phase IV for $299 for 7 nights, plus tax and the $10 resort fee. Anyone stay here, how is it? Feel like we got a really great deal and am super excited to plan our trip. We're going in December before the holidays.

First off.........WHERE DID YOU GET THAT PRICE??!!!.
The Polynesian Isles Resort is our favorite off property place to stay. We currently have 3 stays there in the past 8 years and would stay there every single trip if we could prices like you found. TripAdvisor ranks them as #3 out of 158 hotels and resorts in Kissimmee. We have never had a bad stay.
The grounds are very nicely landscaped. It has 24 hr manned security at the front gate. The units are large and the bathrooms are HUGE. We have stayed twice during December and have always found it to be quiet and relaxing.
Unless you are one of those "impossible to please" people you will not regret staying there.
Please let me know where you booked your reservation so hopefully I can find a great deal for the Polynesian Isle Resort this year also.

Not sure if you ever got your answer, but the Armed Forces Vacation club has Polynesian Isles for $349 for the week some weeks if you are eligible to use it.

I have stayed here and enjoyed it very much! The grounds were landscaped and the condos were very comfortable. The washer and dryer wasn't inside the condo, was outside in the hallway (a bit strange, but hey, not a problem for me!!). You didn't need to pay, just use your key to enter into the alcove. I have a few pictures on my trip report from 2011 (look in my signature) when we stayed there for 3 nights. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Yes, booked through AFVC. Just wondering how much we should expect to use the pool in December and of its a heated pool? Doesn't look like there's a lot to do at the resort so I'm second guessing whether or not we should spend a little more and stay at Sheraton Vistana or WBC?

The pool is heated but as for using it I'd say that depends on the weather. We have been in Orlando during December when the temps were in the 70s and 80s and we have been there when the temps were in the 30s and 40s. As far things to do at the resort, there isn't much; a very small arcade, pools, hot tubs, a tennis court, I heard there is a putting green. That's never been an issue for us as we leave in the morning and don't get back until the evening.

Thanks for posting this, as I am on the fence about booking this resort. We are considering a 1BR for $349 for a week in November. Does anyone know if the 1BR has updated furnishings? The reason I ask is because their website shows some older looking rooms.
