Polynesian in-room dining - romantic dinner for two?

I read somewhere that the Poly in-room dining menu has a special "romantic dinner for two" option, but I don't see it on Deb's website. It sounds like something DH and I would love . . . sitting out on the balcony just the two of us having a nice dinner.

Anyone order this or see it on the menu?

We've never ordered it but it has been on the menu for years. It does sound like a lovely thing to do as a couple. Room service at the Polynesian is great.

We do miss the table. Huddling around the little desk pullout isn't the same.

Do you know exactly what the dinner consists of? Do you pick any two entrees on the menu or are there special entrees for that dinner choice?

I'm sorry but I don't remember. I tried looking on the Polynesian resort FAQ for you and couldn't find the menu. I do think there were some choices but it may have been a choice of a sparkling wine or juice....that kind of thing.

But you could also create your own dinner...just pick what you like. You could also inquire if different entrees could be substituted. Private dining is very helpful at the Polynesian.

We've read about this during our Polynesian stays, but have never tried it. Here's a link with what's basically included:

On a recent trip, I watched private dining set up a table with all the real dishes/tablecloth and serve a couple on the beach. They were watching the fireworks. Very cool! That would be something to try!
