Never done it from the Poly, but there will be cabs at the resort. Definitely quicker than the bus, but will cost $15 - $20.

I would probably take the monorail to transportation center or to main gate of Disney. Then a bus to DTD.

I've always taken the bus from Poly to DTD. I guess I just figure in the travel time as part of the experience.

There are no buses from the TTC or any of the 4 parks which go to Downtown Disney. So your only options are getting on the bus from your resort, driving yourself if you have a car while at WDW or taking a taxi.

But when it comes to Downtown Disney there are no buses from the 4 parks or the TTC which go there. So once again I am going to say your only options are getting on the bus from your resort, driving yourself if you have a car while at WDW or taking a taxi.

But it does NOT say that there are buses available between parks and DTD. Nor are there buses to DTD from the TTC...and Disney does not say there are.

That's where the "most" comes in. Bus service between the theme parks and DTD was discontinued several years ago. Also no service from the TTC.

The OP's options would be a direct bus from the Poly to DTD, or a cab.

Exactly...and the buses to DTD are one of those "may require transfer" situations..

There are no buses from the parks or transportation center directly to DTD. It prevents people from parking for free at DTD and getting direct free transportation into the parks.

Okay thanks, we were also thinking of walking to ttc for the dtd disney bus but will not bother with the help of you folks. We will take the resort bus to dtd.
