Our reservations at Red Roof Inn in Lake City for the trip down and back home have been confirmed. I'm going to start packing my husband's and my things and I MIGHT even clean my truck up this weekend. I can't wait for September 8th!

I wish we our trips were at the same time! I would really love to meet you and your family. I'm sure our girls would have liked to play together, too! The Polynesian is my dream resort and we're really lucky for our first trip to be there. I imagine our next trip will be at WL, AKL, or CS. It will be at least two years until we are able to go back. That is quite a coincidence! Is Beatrice as excited about "getting married" as Madilyn is?

Yay...Mickey Mail came!! This time I requested Tokelau, 2nd or third floor. BUT I have heard that Tokelau is not available right now, so we will leave it up the Poly gods to hopefully give us a good room! We are GV...

I'm definitely requesting Rapa Nui, second or third floor. I have a small list of last minute things to pack. We're also watching for extended weather forecasts for our travel dates. I'm so glad we didn't plan our vacation for this week. I would hate to contend with all the rain from Hurricane Issac! My daughter also has a slight head cold and ran a 100 degree fever last night. I really hope she'll be over it before our trip (and if we catch it, we will be too!).

I did online check in this morning, but I had to call in to make our room requests. The very nice lady I spoke with told me I sounded like Reba McEntire (I probably butchered her last name) which might explain why the automated system couldn't understand anything I said! I hope the rain will let up soon! The roads here are flooding!

Everything is packed and we leave bright and early Saturday morning...Disney bound!!! This will probably be my last update until we get back and start the actual trip report. Almost two years of planning and 1100 miles of driving. This trip had better be good!

Also, I'm so THANKFUL Nanny reminded my to grab my lanyard! I almost left it in the China cabinet.

We are driving home now (actually my husband is at the wheel at the moment) from an amazing week at Disney World. We are all starting to get sick and Marie's wedding is a week from today but we will try to get the trip report off the ground as soon as we can!
