Polynesian Conceirge Lounge?

I realize lounge services run from 7am to 10pm, but does the lounge close after 10pm.

I'm thinking that if I have a GV room and can't sleep, I'd love to sit in the lounge and watch the castle. Is that possible, or do they lock it up after 10pm?

No you can go in there after hours.... They even leave out cookies and water and soda sometimes... Sometimes though the cleaning people come in after hours but not until really late usually...... If it's warm may I suggest laying in a hammock on the beach and watching the castle? It was amazing

No there weren't many bugs at all actually... but we went at the end of January (had perfect weather). The birds are quite annoying during the day but at night it's beautiful! Have a great time!

We never had one bug bite at the poly, sitting on the beach or wandering the grounds.

Don't forget to do the walk on the path of stones people put their names on over to the grand floridian, there are some majestic palm trees that are just lovely.

Thanks again. I can barely contain myself with excitement. I don't know how I'm going to get through 23 more days. I feel like I've never been there. I guess it's just that all the other times we've gone with a different frame of mind and never noticed the things then that seem so important now.

Hi Deb!

just confirming previous responses! when we stayed at poly concierge our experience was that they never lock th elounge doors, you can enter whenever you wish.

also, we have layed on the hammocks all hours of the night, and never had a problem with bugs! and we were there last May, labor day weekend, and Nov, so all times of the year, and never a bug problem!

Isn't that weird that with all the wetlands, there is no bug problem? I even asked DH and of all the times we've been, neither of us ever remembers bugs either. Must be the "Magic"!

Preshi - I do agree with you though, those birds can be a real pain. Oh well!

Yep, the lounge is always open!! It is a nice place to sit and relax. Enjoy your trip!
