According to the Tikimanpages, it was a refurb of paint, carpet, and furniture upholstery.

Also, there are pictures of the rooms and lounge on tikiman s Facebook page. I was just there and everything was gorgeous. I didn't want to leave the lounge!

I looked on Tikiman's FB page and saw the pictures of the newly remodeled rooms, but I didn't see any of the newly remodeled lounge.

I'm glad to hear everything was gorgeous!!

It's our first time at the Hawaiian Building!! It's my husband's first time at the Polynesian!! We are looking forward to it!!
