Polynesian, Beach Club or Boardwalk

Another vote for Poly. We have 2 children ages are 11 & 6. The oldest DD wants to stay at BWI and I also think the Keister Coaster looks awesome! But the main reason we chose Poly for this trip is it has always been my dream resort and we spend so much time at MK. We also have ADRs at many of the restaurants on the monorail loop. Good luck in making your decision.

Poly is great, but is also the oldest on property, and while its great to hop on the monorail to the MK, thats only one of the 4 parks.

The Contemporary is the oldest property. Also, the TTC is literally next door to the Poly, right outside the property, so it makes it convenient to get to 2 parks, not just one.

The Contemporary and Polynesian both opened on October 1st of '71. Fort Wilderness Campground was next November 14, 1971.

That being said, both the Contemporary and Polynesian have both been completely refurbished recently, so the rooms are some of the newest :)

We just faced the same decision for an August trip and chose Yacht Club. Here' s why. We were just at WDW in May and stayed at WL - spent lots of time at MK and barely any at Epcot. Last trip was last August and we stayed at Poly and again, spent almost every day at MK. DD8 is torn because she loves MK but she is starting to get very interested in all that is Epcot. DD3 is just along for the ride at this point. Going in August - can't beat SAB for a pool. Now, our plan is to rent a car for just 2 days of our trip to make it easier to get over to MK and MK resorts and we have arranged our dining so that our reservations at our favorites in or near MK are all within that time when we have the car. All that being said, if an AP rate comes out for our dates for the Poly, I'd not feel bad at all about changing back to the Poly and taking advantage of the Epcot monorail for the first time ever (have always driven or bused before). Having never stayed at BW, I will say that you can't lose with both the Poly and the Beach Club. We are DVC owners and BC is our home resort for a reason. We just love the atmosphere of the YC/BC, being able to boat to MGM, walk to Epcot and hang out at the Boardwalk on a hot summer's night while popping in and out of SAB all the while.
