Polynesian anybody know

They are in the Resort itself. An existing building was converted

The whole hotel is pretty compact compared to the others imo. Even the furthest building isn't that far

Around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace and which bungalow you get I'd say. The connecting ramps are around sunset point or in front of Moorea and then you have to walk around Hawaii and then along Samoa to get to the GCH.

Uh, no. You can walk to the Grand Floridian in that time. I've timed everything many times and everything is 5-7 minutes from the GCH.

Uh, yes.

You might be able to make it to GF in that time but that's more of a 20-30 minute walk for my family.

But OP didn't ask about the bungalows, they asked about the Villas. Which could be any of the DVC rooms. The furthest Bungalow is still closer than the TTC. I walk as slow as molasses and it's no more than 10 min from TTC to the lobby at Poly for me. Avg people would do it in 5

I'm wondering if OP doesn't think Poly is set up like maybe VWL/WL or AKL/AKV? Where they are totally separate buildings. Poly is not like those. It's all in 1 with really no change in the footprint outside of the bungalows on the water

Doesn't matter. Any building on the grounds is within 5-7 minutes including the villas. I've been timing this stuff for 25 years and with GPS enabled devices since the early 2000s and those are the times including the time I gave for getting to GF. Sure the times can be a lot longer if people amble, stop and look at things and in fact I'd encourage people to take longer. There are lots of details to see. However, in straight travel times its 5-7 minutes from anywhere on the grounds.

My best friend stayed in the Poly Villas this summer, we went to visit them after eating at Ohana's. . The studio villas are to the right of the quiet pool, about a 4 or 5 minute walk from the main ceremonial house (building where you check in). I believe they converted one of the original buildings to make the villas. (The indise of the villas building certainly reminded me of our stay in the Tuvalu building from our stay at the Poly years ago).

Yes they did. Not new construction

The DVC villas are a three-four min walk to the TTC, and maybe a 5 min walk to the ceremony house, main hall. I'm happy that with the quiet pool open, we won't have to walk over to the main building to refil our mugs now.

There are 3 possible longhouses for studio villas, Moorea, Tokeleau, and PagoPago, which is closest to TTC. The bungaloes are obviously separate newly constructed stand alone villas, all 2 BR's. All 3 longhouses with studios are very convenient. Hope that you ENJOY!::yes::

The villas are very pretty, the only reason we would not stay there is because the villas are studios only (we need a one bedroom) and I think the volcano pool is too small for the size of the resort. I would love to see the quiet pool when it is finished, does anyone know when it will be done?

It is finished as of a few days ago.
