Polynesian “pool patios”

I am trying to find out the latest info about the pool patios that you can rent. I understand they don’t have cabanas so this is the next best thing. I was told by a dvc agent that you can only reserve in person on the same day. Has anyone rented these? What time did you have to get down there to reserve it? Does water come with it? Any info would be appreciated

The patios we have rented are at the Oasis Pool- the quiet pool- and we booked in advance (at the 60 day window) by calling guest services. I think it was about $75 for the day- I am sure prices have gone up- as this was about 18 months ago. You have lots of space- there is a sofa, 2 comfortable chairs a coffee table and loungers. The patios don't come with any beverages or food, but you can bring your own or order from the Oasis Grill Staff. We like to rent on our pool/hotel days, so we can come and go and not worry about finding chairs with shade. I hope this helps and that someone else who has rented more recently will chime in.

I recently booked one for mid September. $106.50. Not sure why there’s no DVC discount? Was told comes with complimentary soda, water, and a “snack tray” whatever that means remains to be seen. Had to book via phone call. The WDW-PLAY number. Don’t wait till you get there if you really want to have one. Payment was charged in full when reserved, 24 hour cancellation notice for full refund. I’ll try to remember to post on Sept 19 when we have it.

So glad to hear a more recent update than mine! Assumed there was a price increase, but glad to hear they are adding water, sodas and a snack tray! Enjoy!

FYI, they are in full sun for a number of hours of the day…they may still offer the half-day option, which might be the best of both worlds if you’re looking for shade at a reduced cost .

We rented one during our previous Poly stay but unfortunately it started pouring rain within an hour of our pool time. Was nice while we used it.
