Polymitosis, anyone have any personal experiences they can share?

After weeks of numerous testing, bloodwork, mri, scans, etc., etc. my sister has been diagnosed with polymitosis. This apparently is a rare muscle condition that has her quickly deteriorating. I'd like to hear if anyone has any personal experience with this or can offer any information. TIA.
