I do not have all the details BUT Sunday night March 12, 2006 immeidately following the premier of The Sopranos will be a made for HBO movie titled "BIG LOVE" starring Bill Paxton.
The movie is about the lives of a polgamist and his three wives.
Couldn't care less, as long as everyone involved is an adult capable of consent. And if men can have multiple wives I think women ought to be able to have multiple husbands, too.
From reading the post here, I believe many answered it with incest, spousal abuse, arrange marriages and statutory rape in mind. Non of which would be legal (I guess excluding arranged marriages) even in polygamy was.

Too many 60 minutes episodes about some creepy old bearded guy with his 13 year old wife, lol.
I bet a lot more people are polyamorous than anyone would know. Isn't the statistic something like 1 in 3 men cheat?? Many people probably arent in as monogamous of a relationship as they might think!
I don't think the OP meant that one had to live a polygamist lifestyle, only asking if you thought it was OK for others to do so.
I think that is part of the "problem" with the high number of people against it (in addition to the abuse/statutory rape etc comment I made earlier). People are projecting it into their lives, instead of looking at the question from the point of view... is it OK for society to participate
