I was just given a quote for $2700 for 6 days/ 7 nights at the Poly that includes 3 pairs of tickets to the parks. Is that a good rate??

What time of the year is that for and what type of view? I just looked at the price for buying tickets in advance on this website and it was 234 for a 7 day w/hopper option. So that would make your room 333/night. I guess it's not too bad but I've seen better.

I went on the WDW website the dates were from Aug 7 thru the 13th (which I believe is Regular season)

HI there, I joined AAA to get their discount off the poly. It is only 51 dollars for both me and my husband to join AAA for the year and we got 15 percent off the room rate at the Poly.

We are staying Poly Lagoon View Concierge
July 11-17
6 nights 7 days
3 children 2,7 and 9 years old
2 adults
with MYW Hopper plus water slides and disney quest plus the dining for 7 days our pkg was
4495.00 and that included insurance
Disney quoted us 5016.00 for this pkg.

I think it was worth going with AAA plus AAA has discount tickets also.

Just to give you an idea, I am going during value and the price for Garden view is 304 per night and lagoon is 400 per night (not inclucing tax!)

3 weeks 4 days......Poly here we come!

oops! I figured 6 nights instead of 7. So that's $285 a night, assuming that you did the 7 day hopper. That's much better, but it would be interesting to see what others have gotten in previous years for the same time frame. I went in Oct. which was also regular season but I had a cm rate which was 50% off rack rate ($192) so I don't know how to compare your rate to that. Hopefully, some Poly experts will chime in here.

I agree that AAA is great for savings. My AAA membership, which I bought just for the Disney discounts, cost $56. It saved me 15% off my room at the Poly. That is $256 in savings!

We had the Visa "7 for 5" deal at the Poly this past August and paid about $2500. I didn't feel too bad about that.

We also booked a day at each end. Started out at rack rate, that was kind of scary, and got some kind of code before we went that made it a little more bearable.

I think it was right around $3000 total.

I have a question regarding the post about the Poly AAA discount for the lagoon view concierge room in July. I was under the impression that you could only get the AAA discount on a room only reservation. We have a Poly LVC room only reservation for 8/8-8/15 (7 nights) for 3380. inc. tax. (AAA discount). We were told we could not get the dining option unless we went with the package, and that to do this we would forfeit the AAA discount. How did you manage to get the whole package with the AAA? Dreams Unlimited is handling our trip and I know they are great about getting the best possible prices.

This was discussed on another thread. I can't find it right now. Some AAA offices are not up to speed with the new pkg with disney world. Some people have even went with other AAA offices even in different states. My AAA agent pretty much just books vacations and she did her homework on the new pkgs. Also, some people are saying they got the pkg with dining plan with AAA and their agent said the discount was off the room only but I did all the numbers with my pkg and I did get the discount off the room but what disney says the tickets are and dining is doesn't add up. The amount I am paying on my pkg is less then what disney says. So she must of given me a discount on the tickets to.
My advice to you is talk to another AAA agent your agent is wrong because you can get the pkg with the AAA discount but you have to go through AAA to do so. Do a search on AAA on here and the thread should come up. We were talking about it right when the new pkg. came out.

Good Luck
