I have read that WL has the smallest rooms of the deluxe resorts. For those of you who have stayed in both, how much bigger are the Poly rooms than WL?

Speaking technically, WL rooms are approx 344 sq ft and some of the Poly rooms are about 470 sq foot (the rooms in the newer long houses like Tokelau).

I've stayed in both, and you can definitely tell the difference in room size between the two! We love them both, but Poly rooms feel much larger.

That's interesting. The only longhouse I've stayed in is Tokelau, so my initial thought was that the Poly rooms feel twice as big.

We've stayed at both and you can definitely see/feel the difference in size. The Poly rooms are very large compared to the WL and there is plenty of storage space ;).

I have to agree. We stayed in Tokelau, and the difference in size is considerable.
But usually it's only me and 1 daughter, so we aren't cramped at WL. I wouldn't want to stay with 4 adults in a WL room.

There was a significant size difference, IMO. We stayed in Tokelau, which as pp stated have some of the largest rooms at the Poly.

and just for size reference, at WL, we put a pack and play between the two queen beds; there was a little bit of space (a few feet? between the bed and the balcony doors.

At Poly, there was a huge space between the bed and the patio door ~ against the wall was the couch/day bed and across from it on the other wall was the chair and ottoman; we also had a pack and play set up, a double stroller in that space (and sometimes our single as well) and there was still plenty of room for my 6 and 3 year old DDs to play and stretch out.

Thanks everyone! :thumbsup2 I read the square footage on allears.net, but sometimes it helps to actually hear whether the room feels larger -- sometimes that extra sq footage could be in places that it wouldn't really matter for us, like the bathroom.
