Poly - Which View??

Great thanks! So here is my last question for now. What does Club level mean? What do you get out of that?

Thanks!

Check out tikimanpages.com for a detailed look at club level at the Poly. But I'll try to sum it up. You would be in building Hawaii, so there's no wondering where you would be. These rooms were just refurbished, so you are guaranteed a room practically new. You have access to a lounge in your building that has a great view of the magic kingdom. There are cans of soda always available for you. There is a very nice breakfast every morning. There are, at least, snacks available all day. There is a great cocktail hour (evening) with several hot items, beer, wine, and a great spiked punch. Then, later that evening there is a dessert/wine spread put out. Except for the breakfast, all other offerings are not to substitute for a meal. Plates offered are very small for the purpose of sampling a few things, and in my opinion it is not good etiquette to abuse these offerings by loading up your plate as a meal. Most people treated it as such, but I did notice a few loading there plates but that was few and far between.

Club level also includes the option to call a direct number to help you plan your dinner/activities with a club level concierge as soon as you book your room. In addition when you check in to the resort, you are escorted directly to the Hawaii building where you are checked in by the club level concierge staff. During your stay you will have your own concierge staff in the Hawaii building. I will tell you they are the best of the best. Also, your building will require you to use your room key to get into Hawaii, so you have extra security. During the day the door always seems open, but the concierge staff is always there to great you, and I will tell you they will know if someone enters and doesn't belong.

It is always debated whether or not club level is worth the price. I say it is, but that's just me. In fact, I would pay the upgrade for club level before paying for a magic kingdom view upgrade. I know a MK view at the Poly is truly magical, but I think a Poly club level experience is even more magical.

We vacation in late August when the heat is up, and going back to your club level room during the day to escape the heat is great.

One more thought: I think the whole staff at the Hawaii (club level) are the best at what they do. These people are extremely intelligent and highly skilled at what they do. Also, I think there is little turn over in these positions, so these are highly skilled workers, very intelligent, who know their building and know how to run a magical club level experience for there customers.

Yes I second going to tikimans site it has all kinds of info on the Poly and even plays the music loop! I pull up tikimans site just for that reason! Ill leave the music playing in the background as info other work on the computer..
